Adverb of manner से काम किस प्रकार हुआ, इस बात की जानकारी मिलती है (How is the action performed?) इनमें अधिकतर शब्द ly वाले होते हैं जैसे -
He speaks slowly. वह धीरे बात करता है। (How does he speak? - slowly)
Her uncle is seriously ill.मेरे अंकल गंभीर रूप से बीमार है। (How ill is he? - seriously)
They helped us cheerfully. उन्होंने ख़ुशी से हमारी मदद की। (How did they help us? - cheerfully)
The soldiers fought the war bravely. सैनिकों ने बहादुरी से लड़ाई लड़ी। (How did the soldiers fight? - bravely)
Ram works hard. राम कड़ी मेहनत करता है। (How does Ram work? - hard)
