इस Adverb से पता चलता है कि काम कहाँ (किस जगह) हुआ या होना है।(Adverbs of Place tell us the place where something happens.) They answer the question "where?" जैसे -
When an adverb describes where an activity was done, it is known as the adverb of place.
Come here.
Go there.
यहाँ "here" और "there" का उपयोग come तथा go के साथ किया गया है और ये इस बात की जानकारी देता है कि कहाँ आना या जाना है।
कुछ और examples देखिए -
The lady went inside her house. औरत घर के अंदर गयी। (Where did the lady go? - inside)
They looked everywhere. उन्होंने सब जगह देखा। (Where did they look? - everywhere)
Two cars were parked outside. दो कारण बाहर खड़ी थी। (Where were two cars parked? - outside)
इन सभी वाक्यों में inside, everywhere, outside कार्य कहाँ, किस जगह (where) हो रहा है, इसकी जानकारी दे रहे हैं। इसलिए ये सभी Adverbs of Place है।
