Avatar - अवतार - means incarnation has its roots to the Sanskrit word avatara.
Jungle - जंगल - Jungle comes from the Hindi word that sounds just as it is written here.
Punch - एक प्रकार का शरबत/ पंच पेय - Its roots can be traced back to the Sanskrit panca which literally means 'five or five kinds of' (क्यूंकि इस तरह के पेय में पांच तरह के पेय मिले रहते हैं)
Dinghy - डिंगी/ छोटी नाव/ कश्ती - dinghy was derived from the Hindi word dingi or dingiya that was used for small rowing boats
Dacoit - डकैत - derived from the Hindi word dakait
Chit - पर्ची/ चिट्ठी - Chit has its origins in chitthi, a Hindi word for a letter or post
Thug - ठग
Juggernaut - जगन्नाथ
Loot - लूट
Chutney - चटनी
