colour or color?
दोनों में से कौन सी spelling गलत है ये बताना बहुत ही आसान है। color गलत लिखा है। पर नहीं। यह भी सही spelling है। हमने अभी तक colour spelling ही सही माना था और color लिखने पर school में गलत कर दिया जाता था। पर अब नहीं। यह confusion शुरू हुआ British English और American English की वजह से। From last few years, we are more drawn towards American English rather than Bristish English.

behaviour ---- behavior ( 'our' endings change to 'or')
colour ---- color
favourite ---- favorite
flavour ---- flavor
honour ---- honor
labour ---- labor
neighbour ---- neighbor
amphitheatre ---- amphitheater (re endings change to er)
centre ---- center
kilometre ---- kilometer
litre ---- litre
theatre ---- theater
