PEEL (पील) - सब्ज़ी,फल या अन्य किसी भी खाद्य सामग्री के छिलके को हाथ से या knife की मदद से उतारने को peel करना कहा जाता है। Peeling is always done before cutting or chopping.
CORE (कोर) - Cooking terminologies में core का अर्थ होता है फल के central part को remove करना जिसमें अक्सर फल के बीज present होते हैं। There are special tools that help you to core fruits.
SLICE (स्लाइस) - खाने की चीज़ों को पतले, लम्बे व flat यानि चपटे टुकड़ों के रूप में काटने को slice करना कहते हैं।
CHOP (चॉप) - Chop करना भी slice की तरह एक cutting process है लेकिन इसमें चीज़ों को बहुत छोटे टुकड़ों में काटा जाता है। This is probably the most common way to cut vegetables such as onions and tomatoes.
