Difference between " Correct " and " Right "


1. Correct As verbs - To inform (someone) of their error.
Ex : It's rude to correct your parents.

2. Correct as adjectives - means Set right, or made straight
Ex : Always use the most correct editions.

3. Right as adjectives - Appropriate, perfectly suitable; fit for purpose.
Ex - Is this the right software for my computer?

4. Right as As interjection - Right is also with the meaning: yes, that is correct.

5. Right as adverb - Exactly, precisely. Ex : The arrow landed right in the middle of the target.
