एक ही शब्दों का प्रयोग करते करते आप bore हो गए होंगे। आज हम कुछ ऐसे शब्दों को सीखते हैं जिनका प्रयोग कर आप अपनी English को और बेहतर बना सकते हैं। जैसे -
Atrocious - भयानक या बेहद अप्रिय (horrifying or an extremely unpleasant act)
The traders forced the slaves to live in an atrocious environment. (व्यापारियों ने गुलामों को एक भयानक वातावरण में रहने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया।)
Conditions in the prison were atrocious. (जेल में स्थितियां भयानक थीं।)
Endowed - संपन्न (supplied or furnished with)
Kareena’s family is very well endowed. (करीना का परिवार पूरी तरह से संपन्न है।)
Everybody is endowed with the ability to make ethical judgments. (हर कोई नैतिक निर्णय लेने की क्षमता से संपन्न होता है।)
Eloquent - सुवक्ता, वाक्‍पटु, भावपूर्ण (clear, fluent and persuasive in speaking and writing, expressing yourself readily, clearly, effectively)
Our PM is one of the most eloquent speakers. (हमारे प्रधान मंत्री सबसे आकर्षक वक्ताओं में से एक हैं।)
She made an eloquent appeal for action. (उसने कार्रवाई के लिए एक भावपूर्ण अपील की।)
Adamant - अटल, अडिग (impossible to persuade, or unwilling to change an opinion or decision)
She is adamant that she won’t attend the party. (वह अडिग है कि वह पार्टी में शामिल नहीं होगी।)
He is so adamant in his beliefs that no one can change his mind! (वह अपने आस्थाओं में इतना अटल है कि कोई भी उसका मन बदल नहीं सकता!)
