English grammar में preposition सिर्फ देखने में ही छोटे लगते हैं पर इनका प्रयोग वाक्य में बहुत अहम है। यह वाक्य का एक महत्वपूर्ण भाग है। फिर भी सबसे ज्यादा गलतियां इसी में की जाती है। आज हम कुछ ऐसे tips सीखेंगे जिन्हें याद रख कर हम अपनी गलतियों को कम कर सकते हैं -
वाक्य में अगर lack, approach, discuss, marry, resemble और enter जैसे verbs हो तो उनके बाद normally prepositions नहीं लगाते, बल्कि सीधे ही objects का प्रयोग होता है। जैसे -
Incorrect: Although he is intelligent, he lacks of experience.
Correct: Although he is intelligent, he lacks experience.
Incorrect: The train is now approaching to New Delhi station.
Correct: The train is now approaching New Delhi station.
Incorrect: We were not allowed to enter into the class.
Correct: We were not allowed to enter the class.
