Verbs followed only by Infinitives
(ऐसे verbs जिनके बाद केवल क्रिया की first form ही आती है)
demand - He demanded to speak to the principal. (उसने प्रिंसिपल से बात करने की मांग की।)

deserve - Indian team deserved to win the match. (भारतीय टीम मैच जीतने के हकदार थे।)
[Wrong: deserved winning]
expect - They are expected to arrive early. (वे जल्दी से आने की उम्मीद कर रहे हैं।)
[Wrong: expected arriving]
fail - She failed to follow the instructions. (वह निर्देशों का पालन करने में विफल रही।)
[Wrong: failed following]
get - It's not fair that he gets to see the gift before the others. (यह उचित नहीं है कि उसे अन्य लोगों से पहले उपहार देखने को मिलता है।)
[Wrong: gets seeing]
happen - She happened to be at the bank when it was robbed. (वह बैंक में होनी चाहिए थी जब वह लूट ली गई।)

hesitate - Don't hesitate to call. (कॉल करने में संकोच न करें।)

hope - I hope to begin my own business this year. (मैं इस वर्ष अपना खुद का व्यवसाय शुरू करने की उम्मीद करता हूँ।)
