अगर each, every, one इत्यादि के बाद of का प्रयोग होता है तो of के बाद आने वाला noun अथवा pronoun तो plural होता है लेकिन उसके बाद आने वाला verb, adjective, pronoun इत्यादि singular होगा।
1. One of the boys has done his work.
2. Each of the girls was given a cash prize.
3. Many times, it is the culprit who runs.
