नकारात्मक वाक्य के लिए not या no का प्रयोग is/am/are/was/were/shall/will के बाद होता है।
There is no doubt about it. (इसके बारे में कोई संदेह नहीं है।)
There are not two elephants in the zoo. (वहाँ चिड़ियाघर में दो हाथी नहीं हैं।)
There aren't any trees in my street. (मेरी गली में कोई भी पेड़ नहीं हैं।)
There should be no corruption in our country. (हमारे देश में कोई भ्रष्टाचार नहीं होना चाहिए।)
प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य बनाने के लिए is/am/are/was/were/shall/will को there से पहले लगाते है। यदि प्रश्न में Wh शब्द (Who, When, Where etc) हो तो वाक्य Wh शब्द से शुरू होता है।
Is there any serious matter? (क्या कोई गंभीर बात है?)
Will there be no peace here? (क्या यहाँ शांति नहीं रहेगी?)
How many men were there? (कितने आदमी थे?)
Why is there a book on the table? (वहाँ मेज पर किताब क्यों है?)
