The 16th Hockey India Junior Men National championship 2026 began this morning in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The tournament features country’s finest junior men’s hockey teams who compete over 12 days till 8th of August to decide the national champions. Action on the opening day began with Assam taking on Mizoram in a Division ‘C’ Pool A match. A total of 30 teams are participating across Division ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’, with promotion and relegation adding further significance to every fixture. While Division ‘A’ teams will compete for the championship title, teams in Divisions ‘B’ and ‘C’ will battle for promotion to the next division.
16वीं हॉकी इंडिया जूनियर पुरुष राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियनशिप 2026 का शुभारंभ आज सुबह तमिलनाडु के कोयंबटूर में हुआ। इस टूर्नामेंट में देश की सर्वश्रेष्ठ जूनियर पुरुष हॉकी टीमें हिस्सा ले रही हैं, जो 8 अगस्त तक 12 दिनों तक प्रतिस्पर्धा करेंगी और राष्ट्रीय चैंपियन का फैसला करेंगी। पहले दिन की शुरुआत असम और मिजोरम के बीच डिवीजन 'सी' पूल ए के मैच से हुई। डिवीजन 'ए', 'बी' और 'सी' में कुल 30 टीमें भाग ले रही हैं, जिनमें प्रमोशन और डिमोशन के कारण हर मैच का महत्व और भी बढ़ गया है। डिवीजन 'ए' की टीमें चैम्पियनशिप खिताब के लिए प्रतिस्पर्धा करेंगी, जबकि डिवीजन 'बी' और 'सी' की टीमें अगले डिवीजन में प्रमोशन के लिए लड़ेंगी।
