AAP's disqualified MLAs reached High Court- Namaste English

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) filed a fresh plea in the Delhi high court on Tuesday to challenge the decision to disqualify 20 party MLAs in an office-of-profit case. In this petition, an appeal has been made to repeal the Election Commission's decision to disqualify the MLAs. The Aam Aadmi Party had made its 20 MLAs parliamentary secretaries in 2015 whereas a constitutional clause prohibits legislators from holding any position with monetary or other benefits.

आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) ने मंगलवार को दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट में एक नई याचिका दायर की जिसमें लाभ-के-पद मामले में 20 विधायकों को अयोग्य घोषित करने के फैसले को चुनौती दी गई। इस याचिका में चुनाव आयोग द्वारा AAP विधायकों को अयोग्य ठहराने के फैसले को निरस्त करने की गुहार लगाई गई है। आम आदमी पार्टी ने 2015 में अपने 20 विधायकों को संसदीय सचिव बनाया था जबकि एक संवैधानिक धारा किसी विधायक द्वारा एक आर्थिक या अन्य लाभों वाली पदवी ग्रहण करने पर रोक लगाती है।
