Secretary of the Department of Consumer Affairs, Nidhi Khare, today said that the government will begin using Artificial Intelligence and robotics to enhance the testing infrastructure. The Secretary was speaking at the 15th edition of FICCI MASSMERIZE in New Delhi. Ms Khare said that such infrastructure will help reduce costs of testing samples, thereby increasing accuracy and traceability. Highlighting increasing awareness among consumers, Ms Khare said that the department is receiving five times more complaints as compared to five years ago.
उपभोक्ता मामलों के विभाग की सचिव निधि खरे ने आज कहा कि सरकार परीक्षण बुनियादी ढांचे को बेहतर बनाने के लिए कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता और रोबोटिक्स का उपयोग शुरू करेगी। सचिव नई दिल्ली में आयोजित FICCI MASSMERIZE के 15वें संस्करण में बोल रही थीं। सुश्री खरे ने कहा कि इस तरह के बुनियादी ढांचे से नमूनों के परीक्षण की लागत कम होगी, जिससे सटीकता और पता लगाने की क्षमता में वृद्धि होगी। उपभोक्ताओं में बढ़ती जागरूकता पर प्रकाश डालते हुए सुश्री खरे ने कहा कि विभाग को पांच साल पहले की तुलना में पांच गुना अधिक शिकायतें मिल रही हैं।
