Asaram convicted of raping a minor- Namaste English

A Jodhpur court on Wednesday convicted Asaram of raping a teenage female devotee and dashed the hopes of thousands of followers who claimed his innocence. Of the total five accused of this case, three, including Asaram, were convicted and two were acquitted. The verdict was pronounced from Jodhpur Central Jail. In anticipation of adverse reactions from Asaram's followers, Centre has ordered security hike in 3 states.
