Ace shuttler Lakshya Sen has entered the men’s singles second round at the BWF Badminton World championships. He defeated Collins Filimon of Austria in the opening round. The Indian shuttler was down after the first game at 16-21. However he clawed back to register one-sided wins in the next two games 21-8, 21-4. In the Women’s Doubles, India’s Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand have advanced to the pre-quarterfinals.
