Changes in the Education Policy- Namaste English

The ministry announced that there will be holistic and multidisciplinary education in terms of flexibility of subjects. MPhil courses to be discontinued under new National Education Policy, and all the courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD level will be interdisciplinary. All higher education institutions, except legal and medical colleges, will be governed by a single regulator. Board exams will focus on actual knowledge instead of rote learning. School curriculum will be reduced to core concepts; vocational education will be integrated from class 6. Report cards will be a comprehensive report on skills and capabilities instead of just marks and grades.

मंत्रालय ने घोषणा किया है कि विषयों के संदर्भ में समग्र और बहु-विषयक शिक्षा होगी। नई राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के तहत एमफिल पाठ्यक्रम को बंद कर दिया जाएगा, और स्नातक, स्नातकोत्तर और पीएचडी स्तर पर सभी पाठ्यक्रम अंतःविषय होंगे। कानूनी और मेडिकल कॉलेजों को छोड़कर सभी उच्च शिक्षा संस्थान एक नियामक द्वारा नियंत्रित होंगे। बोर्ड परीक्षा रट कर सीखने के बजाय वास्तविक ज्ञान पर ज़ादा ज़ोर देगी।स्कूल पाठ्यक्रम को मूल अवधारणाओं में कम किया जाएगा; व्यावसायिक शिक्षा को कक्षा 6 से शुरू किया जाएगा। रिपोर्ट कार्ड में सिर्फ अंक और ग्रेड के बजाय कौशल और क्षमताओं पर भी व्यापक रिपोर्ट होगी।
