Debate in Loksabha over mob violence

Regarding the recent mob lynching incident in Alwar, the polemical issue of mob violence was once again raised in the Lok Sabha today. CPI-M MP, Mohammad Salim said that violence in the name of cow protection is a despicable act. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh responded by reiterating that government is ready to take stringent steps to curb such form of violence and assured that a high-level committee will look into such incidents from now onwards.
