In this era of advancement of science, drones are being used for many works. Drones are being used these days for extinguishing fires, inspecting power lines for electricity supply and spraying pesticides on crops, besides monitoring crowds. In the health sector, the government has used drones today to transport TB medicine from AIIMS Rishikesh to Tehri Garhwal. The special thing is that the drone carrying two kg of medicine covered a distance of 40 km in about 30 minutes, while it usually takes 2 hours to cover this distance. Now the further plan regarding the drone is to conduct a trial soon from AIIMS Delhi to Cancer Hospital in Jhajjar. Along with emergency, the government has shown a serious attitude towards providing medicines and testing facilities in hilly areas through drones.
साइंस के तरक्की के इस युग में ड्रोन्स का इस्तेमाल कई कामों के लिए किया जा रहा है. ड्रोन का इस्तेमाल इन दिनों आग बुझाने, बिजली सप्लाई के लिए लगी पावर लाइन के निरीक्षण और फसलों पर कीटनाशक के छिड़काव के अलावा भीड़ पर निगरानी जैसे कामों के लिए भी किया जाने लगा है. हेल्थ सेक्टर में सरकार ने ड्रोन का इस्तेमाल, आज एम्स ऋषिकेश से टिहरी गढ़वाल तक टीबी की दवा को पहुंचाने के लिए किया है. खास बात यह है कि दो KG भार की दवा ले जा रहे ड्रोन ने 40 किमी की दूरी करीब 30 मिनट में तय की जबकि आम तौर पर इस दूरी को तय करने में 2 घंटे का वक्त लगता है. ड्रोन को लेकर अब आगे की योजना, एम्स दिल्ली से झज्जर के कैंसर हॉस्पिटल तक जल्द ही एक ट्रायल करने की है. सरकार ने आपातकालीन स्थिति के साथ ही हिली एरिया में दवाई और टेस्ट की सुविधा ड्रोन के ज़रिए उपलब्ध कराने को लेकर गंभीर रुख दिखाया है.
