Flood alert in Tamil Nadu's Erode district- Namaste English

The water level in the Lower Bhavani Project reservoir reached its maximum of 105 feet. A flood alert has been issued to people living on the banks of river Bhavani in this western district of Tamil Nadu as a dam built across it has surplussed because of copious rains in catchment areas. Consequently, Revenue officials released a flood alert and advised people living on the banks of River Bhavani to move to safer places.

लोअर भवानी प्रोजेक्ट जलाशय में पानी का स्तर अधिकतम 105 फीट तक पहुंच गया। तमिलनाडु के इस पश्चिमी जिले में भवानी नदी के तट पर रहने वाले लोगों के लिए बाढ़ का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है, क्योंकि इस क्षेत्र में बने बांध को जलग्रहण क्षेत्रों में हो रहे भारी बारिश की वजह से खोल दिया गया है। नतीजतन, राजस्व अधिकारियों ने बाढ़ की चेतावनी जारी की और भवानी नदी के किनारे रहने वाले लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर जाने की सलाह दी।
