Foggy morning in Delhi, 12 trains, several flights delayed- Namaste English

A thick blanket of fog enveloped the national capital on Friday. It hampered the train and flights services in Delhi. The latest data compiled by Indian Railways revealed that as many as 12 trains were rescheduled after getting delayed for at least by 2 hours. As per the Skymet Weather, dense to very dense fog is expected to make an appearance over Northern Plains January 7 onward. The intensity of fog during that time will be much more and visibility may drop down to zero. West Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana and North Rajasthan are also likely to receive rainfall on January 5 and 6.

शुक्रवार को कोहरे की एक मोटी चादर ने राष्ट्रीय राजधानी को घेर लिया। इसने दिल्ली में ट्रेन और उड़ान सेवाओं में रुकावट पैदा की। भारतीय रेलवे द्वारा संकलित किये हुए नवीनतम आंकड़ों से पता चला है कि कम से कम 12 ट्रेनों को 2 घंटे की देरी के बाद पुनर्योजित (रिशेड्यूल) किया गया था। स्काईमेट वेदर के अनुसार, उत्तरी मैदानी क्षेत्रों में 7 जनवरी से घने से बहुत घने कोहरे दिखाई देने की उम्मीद है। उस समय कोहरे की तीव्रता बहुत अधिक होगी और दृश्यता शून्य तक गिर सकती है। पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश, दिल्ली एनसीआर, पंजाब, हरियाणा और उत्तरी राजस्थान में भी 5 और 6 जनवरी को बारिश होने की संभावना है।
