Government status in Karnataka still in doubt- Namaste English

The dilemma of who will form the government in Karnataka continues even after the culmination of elections. In the election aftermath, BJP emerged as the single largest party with 104 seats but failed to achieve majority, whereas the Congress has formed an alliance with its rival, JD(S) to keep this saffron party out of power. Together, the two parties now have a clear majority. On the other hand, JD(S) stalwart, H. D. Kumaraswamy has accused that BJP has offered Rs 100 crore and cabinet rank to get the MLAs to switch sides.
