GRAP implemented in Delhi due to pollution- Namaste English

To curb the issue of rapidly increasing air pollution and deteriorating air quality in the national capital, the government will implement stringent actions under the emergency plan called Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) from today. In the current situation, the air quality has entered the 'poor' category but authorities have predicted that it would reach the 'very poor' category in the next couple of days.

राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में तेजी से बढ़ रहे वायु प्रदूषण और खराब हो रही हवा की गुणवत्ता पर नियंत्रण करने के लिए, सरकार द्वारा आज से ग्रेडिड रिस्पॉन्स एक्शन प्लान (GRAP) नामक आपातकालीन योजना के तहत सख्त कार्यवाही की जायेगी। वर्तमान स्थिति में, वायु गुणवत्ता 'खराब' श्रेणी में प्रवेश कर चुकी है लेकिन अधिकारियों ने भविष्यवाणी की है कि यह अगले कुछ दिनों में 'बहुत खराब' श्रेणी तक पहुंच जाएगी।
