Gully boy movie review- Namaste English

Zoya Akhtar’s Gully boy is a film which put a light on India’s incipient hip-hop subculture. The film opens with a dedication to pioneering Indian hip-hop stars Naezy and Divine. Cinematographer Jay Oza presents the city in wide shots, while framing faces especially Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt mercilessly close, exposing the actors at their rawest. The dialogues in Gully Boy are authentic from the beginning. Ranveer singh is unstoppable in this film. Alia has played a wondrous character which is strikingly self-assured and frighteningly perceptive. Gully Boy starts with a scratch sound and ends with a cut to silence, and in between holds voices that cannot be unheard.

जोया अख्तर की गली बॉय एक ऐसी फिल्म है, जो भारत के आरंभिक हिप-हॉप उपसंस्कृति पर प्रकाश डालती है। यह फिल्म पथप्रदर्शक भारतीय हिप-हॉप सितारों नैजी और डिवाइन के लिए एक समर्पण के साथ शुरू होती है। सिनेमेटोग्राफर जय ओझा ने शहर को व्यापक दृश्यों में प्रस्तुत किया, चेहरों ख़ासकर रणवीर सिंह और आलिया भट्ट को निष्ठुरतापूर्वक फ्रेम करते हुए, अभिनेताओ के प्राकृतिक रूप को उजागर किया है। गली बॉय के संवाद शुरू से ही वास्तविक हैं। इस फिल्म में रणवीर सिंह अबाध हैं। आलिया ने एक आश्चर्यजनक किरदार निभाया है जो असाधारण रूप से आत्मविश्वासी और भयावह रूप से अनुभव करने में सक्षम है। गली बॉय एक आकस्मिक ध्वनि के साथ शुरू होती है और एक चुप्पी पर एक चोट के साथ समाप्त होती है, और बीच-बीच में आवाजें भी आती हैं जो अनसुनी नहीं की जा सकती।
