HC rejects Zakia Jafri's plea- Namaste English

In the Gulberg society massacre case, the Gujarat HC rejected ex-MP Ehsan Jafri's wife, Zakia Jafri’s plea. The petition demanded investigation against then-chief minister Narendra Modi and others, for allegedly hatching the conspiracy behind the 2002 riots when mobs went on a rampage and killed Muslims retaliation for a fire on a train that killed Hindus.

गुलबर्ग सोसायटी कत्लेआम मामले में गुजरात उच्च न्यायालय ने पूर्व सांसद एहसान जाफरी की पत्नी जाकिया जाफरी की याचिका को खारिज कर दिया। याचिका में तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और अन्य लोगों के खिलाफ 2002 में हुए दंगे,जब भीड़ हिंसात्मक होगयी थी और हिंदुओं को ले जाने वाली ट्रेन में आग लगने के प्रतिशोध में मुसलामानों को मार डाला था, के पीछे साजिश का जाल रचने का आरोप लगाने की मांग की गई थी।
