Jasprit Bumrah led the way as India defended a target of 120 with a sensational bowling performance and beat arch-rivals Pakistan by six runs at the Nassau County Stadium in New York. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan seemed to have got Pakistan off to a good start in their chase. Bumrah was unlucky with Shivam Dube dropping a sitter off him and giving Rizwan a second life. However, he got Babar in his second over thanks to a stunning catch by Suryakumar Yadav. Pakistan were 35/1 in the powerplay. India came roaring back after the 10th over though. Jasprit Bumrah recorded imperious figures of 3/14 while Hardik Pandya took 2/24 and it came down to Pakistan needing 18 to win off the last over.
