Justice Loya's death serious case: Supreme Court- Namaste English

The Supreme Court on Friday termed the alleged mysterious death of CBI judge B.H. Loya, who was hearing the Sohrabuddin Sheikh encounter case, as “a serious matter” and asked the Maharashtra government to file his autopsy report. The SC is hearing petitions filed by Maharashtra-based journalist B.R. Lone for a probe into Loya’s death on December 1, 2014. Another petition has also been filed by Congress leader Tehseen Poonawala in which he has contended that circumstances revolving around the death of the judge Loya were “questionable, mysterious and contradicting”.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने शुक्रवार को सोहराबुद्दीन शेख एनकाउंटर मामले की सुनवाई कर रहे CBI के न्यायाधीश बी.एच. लोया की कथित रहस्यमय मौत को " एक गंभीर मामला" बताया और महाराष्ट्र सरकार से उनकी की शव-परीक्षा रिपोर्ट दर्ज करने के लिए कहा। अदालत 1 दिसंबर, 2014 को हुई लोया की मौत की जाँच-पड़ताल के लिए महाराष्ट्र के एक पत्रकार बी.आर. लोन द्वारा दायर याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई कर रही है। कांग्रेस नेता तहसीन पूनावाला द्वारा इसी मुद्दे पर एक और याचिका दायर की गई है जिसमें उन्होंने दावे के साथ कहा है कि न्यायाधीश लोया की मौत के इर्द-गिर्द घूम रही परिस्थितियां "संदिग्ध, रहस्यमय और विरोधाभासी" थी ।
