Lalu Prasad convicted in third fodder scam case- Namaste English

A special CBI court on Wednesday convicted RJD supremo, Lalu Prasad Yadav in the third fodder scam case. acquitted in the second fodder scam case last year, former Bihar CM Jagannath Mishra was also pronounced guilty of embezzling funds from the Chaibasa treasury. The court has sentenced the guilty to five-five years jail imprisonment. A fine of Rs 10 lakh and 5 lakh has also been imposed on Lalu Yadav and Jagannath Mishra respectively.

एक विशेष CBI अदालत ने बुधवार को RJD प्रमुख, लालू प्रसाद यादव को तीसरे चारा घोटाला मामले में दोषी करार दिया। पिछले साल दूसरे चारा घोटाला मामले में बरी किये गए बिहार के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री जगन्नाथ मिश्रा को भी चाईबासा खजाने से धन गबन करने का दोषी ठहराया गया। अदालत ने दोषियों को पांच-पांच साल जेल की सजा सुनाई है। लालू यादव पर 10 लाख और जगन्नाथ मिश्रा पर 5 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया है।
