Let Censor Board certify 'Padmavati': Supreme Court

The SC on Monday dismissed another plea to stay the release of the controversial movie Padmavati. A three-judge Bench said the SC won't intervene here and cannot injunct a statutory body like the CBFC from doing its duty of certifying a film. The court also said since the film is yet to be certified by the CBFC, “our interference will tantamount to pre-judging the matter.”
