Moody’s lifts India’s rating after 13 years- Namaste English

Taking notice of the current economic reforms such as the GST and the mechanisms for resolving bad loans and recapitalize ailing public sector banks, India’s sovereign credit rating has been upgraded by the Global rating agency, Moody’s for the first time in 14 years. Financial sector honchos have hailed this step as it will now reduce the borrowing cost for the country.
