More than 2000 Sabarimala protesters arrested- Namaste English

The Kerala police have apprehended more than 2000 people responsible for violent protests outside the Sabarimala temple on October 17. Many protesters were arrested from their homes, which also caused melee. However, the Kerala high court has warned the state government against harassing innocent people amid the arrests. Meanwhile, BJP has shown support to the temple devotees as most of those arrested are party's workers or from RSS.
