Punjab CM Amarinder Singh condoles demise of hockey legend Balbir Singh Sr- Namaste English

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Monday expressed his deep sorrow on the death of Balbir Singh Senior. He said that the hockey legend exemplified qualities of perseverance, dedication and sportsmanship and will remain an inspiration for the generation of players. One of India’s greatest hockey players, Balbir Singh Sr died at a hospital here on Monday after battling multiple health issues for over two weeks.

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री अमरिंदर सिंह ने सोमवार को बलबीर सिंह सीनियर की मौत पर गहरा दुख व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि हॉकी के दिग्गज ने दृढ़ता, समर्पण और खिलाड़ी भाव के गुणों का एक उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया और यह खिलाड़ियों की पीढ़ी के लिए प्रेरणा बनेगा। भारत के सबसे महान हॉकी खिलाड़ियों में से एक, बलबीर सिंह सीनियर का दो सप्ताह से अधिक समय तक स्वास्थ्य संबंधी समस्याओं से जूझने के बाद सोमवार को एक अस्पताल में निधन हो गया।
