The Uddhav government of Maharashtra has withdrawn the consent given to the CBI for investigation. Now before investigating every case in Maharashtra, the Central Investigation Agency will have to take permission from the state. The move by the Uddhav Thackeray government is expected to increase conflict between the Center and the state. The Maharashtra government's decision may have a direct bearing on the FIR lodged by the CBI in the TRP scam. The CBI will now investigate the case registered in Lucknow regarding the TRP scam, but if the CBI has to conduct any raids or action in Maharashtra, it will now be mandatory to get the approval of the state government.

महाराष्ट्र की उद्धव सरकार ने जांच के लिए सीबीआई को दी गई आम सहमति को वापस ले लिया है। अब महाराष्ट्र में हर केस की जांच से पहले केंद्रीय जांच एजेंसी को राज्य से इजाजत लेनी होगी। उद्धव ठाकरे सरकार के इस कदम से केंद्र और राज्य के बीच टकराव बढ़ने की आशंका है। महाराष्ट्र सरकार के इस फैसले का सीधा असर सबसे पहले सीबीआई द्वारा टीआरपी घोटाले में दर्ज एफ आई आर पर हो सकता है। टीआरपी घोटाले को लेकर लखनऊ में दर्ज मामले की जांच अब सीबीआई करेगी, लेकिन सीबीआई को अगर महाराष्ट्र में कोई भी रेड या कार्रवाई करनी है, तो अब उसे राज्य सरकार की मंजूरी लेना अनिवार्य होगा।
