Upendra Kushwaha resigns as Union minister- Namaste English

RLSP president Upendra Kushwaha stepped down as minister of state for human resource development on Monday in a move that could trigger a realignment of political equations in Bihar. Kushwaha was reportedly unhappy over the seat-sharing deal in Bihar for the Lok Sabha election next year and had been threatening to end his party's association with the BJP-led NDA government. Earlier in the day, Kushwaha had said that he will not participate in the NDA meeting at Parliament House complex slated to be held at 4pm. The Rashtriya Lok Samta Party chief has been targeting the BJP and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, a key ally of the ruling party, for weeks.
