Weather wreaks havoc on Kailash Mansarovar Yatra- Namaste English

Due to inclement weather and heavy rains, more than 1,500 Indian pilgrims are stranded along the Nepalganj-Simikot-Hilsa route of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. India has asked Nepal for military helicopters to evacuate its stranded nationals amidst the downpour. However, an MEA official has assured that as of now, pilgrims are not facing any immediate danger. Information hotlines have also been set up for pilgrims and their family members.

तूफ़ाना मौसम और भारी बारिश के कारण 1,500 से अधिक भारतीय तीर्थयात्री कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा के नेपालगंज-सिमिकोट-हिल्सा मार्ग पर फंसे हुए हैं। भारत ने मूसलाधार बारिश के चलते अपने फंसे हुए नागरिकों को निकालने के लिए नेपाल से सैन्य हेलीकॉप्टरों की मांग की है। हालांकि, MEA के एक अधिकारी ने आश्वासन दिया है कि फ़िलहाल तीर्थयात्री किसी भी तत्काल खतरे का सामना नहीं कर रहे हैं। तीर्थयात्रियों और उनके परिवार के सदस्यों के लिए सूचना हॉटलाइन भी स्थापित की जा चुकी है।
