Women's cyber security is important- Namaste English

The top official of Twitter India appeared before the parliamentary committee on Wednesday. He apprised the committee about the actions taken to prevent cyber harassment and bullying of women. He also gave a presentation before the committee on women empowerment and informed about the modern changes in technology to ensure cyber security and protection of women. He also spoke about the mechanism of social media platforms to deal with harassment cases and also how women can deal with it. The parliamentary committee is headed by Hina Gavit of BJP. All the members in it are women. Representatives from Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram will appear before the committee on Thursday.

ट्विटर इंडिया के शीषर्ष अधिकारी बुधवार को संसदीय समिति के समक्ष उपस्थित हुए। उन्होंने महिलाओं के साथ सायबर उत्पीड़न और उन्हें प्रता़ि़डत करने से रोकने के लिए की गई कार्यवाई से समिति को अवगत कराया। उन्होंने महिला सशक्तिकरण पर समिति के समक्ष एक प्रदर्शन दिया और साइबर सुरक्षा और महिलाओं की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी में आधुनिक बदलावों की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने प्रताड़ना के मामलों से निबटने के लिए सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म के युक्ति के बारे में भी बताया साथ ही यह भी बताया कि किस तरह से महिलाएं इससे निबट सकती हैं। संसदीय समिति का नेतृत्व भाजपा की हिना गावित कर रही हैं। इसमें सभी सदस्य महिलाएं हैं। गुरवार को समिति के सामने फेसबुक, वाट्सएप और इंस्टाग्राम के प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित होंगे।
