Zero film review- Namaste English

The much-awaited SRK-starrer Zero finally hit the screen on this Friday, film garnered a mixed response. Rarely has a film aroused so much curiosity as Zero. Even those who stay away from the pre-release publicity, knew that in his latest film, Shah Rukh Khan was playing the character of a dwarf. Zero fails spectacularly at giving us anything we can believe in, and we go from start to finish, with disbelief growing with each passing frame. In this movie every twitch is familiar. The writing is all over the place, and everything is so choppy, that the characters all appear to float in their own bubbles, without any palpable connection with each other.

बहुप्रतीक्षित एसआरके-अभिनीत ज़ीरो आखिरकार इस शुक्रवार को स्क्रीन पर आ गई, फिल्म को मिली-जुली प्रतिक्रिया मिली। शायद ही कभी किसी फिल्म ने ज़ीरो जैसी इतनी उत्सुकता पैदा की हो। यहां तक कि जो लोग पूर्व-रिलीज़ प्रचार से दूर रहते हैं, वे जानते थे कि अपनी नई फ़िल्म में, शाहरुख खान एक बौने का किरदार निभा रहे थे। शून्य हमें ऐसा कुछ भी देने में शानदार ढंग से विफल रहती है जिस पर हम विश्वास कर सकते हैं, और हम प्रत्येक बीतते फ्रेम के साथ अविश्वास बढ़ते हुए शुरू से अंत तक चले जाते हैं। इस फ़िल्म में हर झटका परिचित है। लेखन सभी जगह पर है, और सब कुछ इतना अस्थिर है, कि सभी पात्र एक दूसरे के साथ किसी भी स्पष्ट संबंध के बिना, अपने ही बुलबुले में तैरते दिखाई देते हैं।
