As white as a sheet - [of someone] extremely pale, as if frightened, looking unhealthy or ill (डर या बीमार होने के कारण पीला/ कांतिहीन हो जाना)
When I saw him his face was as white as a sheet and he was crying. (जब मैंने उसे देखा उसका चेहरा चादर तरह सफेद था और वह रो रहा था।)
White flag - A signal of surrender or defeat; a sign that one going to yield or give up (सफ़ेद झंडा - समर्पण या हार का संकेत)
The soldiers laid down their guns and walked towards the enemy camp, carrying a white flag. (सैनिकों ने अपनी बंदूक नीचे रखी और एक सफेद झंडा लेकर (समर्पण के लिए) दुश्मन शिविर की ओर चल दिए।)
White elephant - A possession that is useless or troublesome, especially one that is expensive to maintain or difficult to dispose of (कीमती वस्तु जो किसी काम की ना हो - सफ़ेद हाथी)
At first, I was excited to inherit the restaurant, but it soon proved to be a white elephant. (पहले, मैं रेस्तरां का अधिकार पा कर उत्साहित था, लेकिन यह जल्द ही एक सफेद हाथी साबित हुआ।)
White collar - relating to people who work in offices, doing work that needs mental rather than physical effort (सफ़ेदपोश/ कर्मचारी)
We have a lot of vacancies for white-collar workers at the moment, but hardly anyone is applying for them.
