Different use of preposition of time Part 2


1. During:
Used to indicate a duration of time within a larger time frame: "He fell asleep during the movie."
Used with activities or events: "She was busy during the conference."
2. For:
Used to indicate a period of time: "They have been studying for three hours."
Used to express duration: "I lived in that city for five years."
3. Since:
Used to indicate a starting point in time: "She has been working here since 2010."
Used with specific points in the past: "I have known him since high school."
4. Until/ Till:
Used to indicate a point in time up to which something continues: "Please wait here until/till I come back."
Used to express a limit in time: "The shop is open until/till 9 PM."
