अब कुछ नही हो सकता -- There is no help for it (There is no help, it's Sunday the banks are closed. अब कुछ नहीं हो सकता, रविवार है और बैंक बंद है।)
व्यर्थ हो जाना -- In vain (y hard work went in vain when my boss refused my proposal. मेरी मेहनत व्यर्थ हो गयी जब मेरे मालिक ने मेरे प्रस्ताव से इनकार कर दिया।)
मुझे पता है क्या करना है मैं बच्चा नही हूँ -- I am not born yesterday. (Don't teach me. I am not born yesterday. मेरे मत सिखाओ। मुझे पता है क्या करना है मैं बच्चा नही हूँ।)
खर्च उठाना। -- To foot the bill (You have to foot the bill I came to meet you after all. आपको खर्च उठाना पड़ेगा आखिरकार मैं आपसे मिलने आया।)
मनहूस दिन --- Bad hair day (Nothing happens good today. It's a bad hair. आज कुछ भी अच्छा नहीं हुआ। यह एक मनहूस दिन है।)
दुखद -- Heartrending (People got upset after listening to his heartrending incident. लोग उसकी दुखद घटना सुनने के बाद परेशान हो गए।)
बड़ी बड़ी बाते करना -- To blow hard/ to talk proudly (You are our boss for a few days, you don't need to blow hard. आप कुछ दिनों के लिए हमारे मालिक है, बड़ी बड़ी बाते करने की जरूरत नहीं है।)
ज्यादा छूट देना -- To give somebody long rope (People take you for granted if you give them long rope. लोग तुम्हे ध्यान नहीं देते अगर तुम उन्हें ज्यादा छूट दी।)
