July का महीना है और बारिश शुरू हो चुकी है। कभी कम बारिश होती है तो कभी ज्यादा। कभी तेज तो कभी धीरे। इसलिए आज हम rain से सम्बंधित vocabulary सीखेंगे -
Drizzle – बूंदाबांदी (Light rain, fine raindrops)
Shower - बारिश की बौछार (On and Off rain)
Scattered Showers – छिट पुट बौछार (On and off rain for short periods throughout the day)
Torrential rain/ Downpour/ Drencher – मूसलाधार बारिश (A heavy rainfall)
Rainstorm - a storm with heavy rain (आंधी-तूफ़ान वाली बारिश)
Sleet - ओले के साथ वर्षा (precipitation with hail i.e. small ice pellets)
Flood – बाढ़ (Overflow of a large amount of water)
Deluge - बाढ़, जल-प्रलय (severe flood or flood-like conditions caused by heavy rain)
Damp – गीला (to be slightly wet)
Drenched – पूरी तरह से भीगा हुआ (Fully wet)
Soaked – पूरी तरह से भीगा हुआ (Fully wet)
