'Will' एक मुख्य क्रिया है पर इसे Modal Auxiliary Verbs की तरह भी use किया जा सकता है। जब will का प्रयॊग auxiliary verb की तरह होता है तो इसके बाद हमेशा verb लगाया जाता है।
'will' as a main verb
to talk about the future – भविष्य के बारे में बात करने के लिए will का प्रयॊग होता है (to say what we believe will happen/ to talk about what people want to do or are willing to do/ to make promises and offers) -
Beliefs -- We'll be late. (हमें देर हो जाएगी।)
Offers and promises -- We will come and see you next week. (हम अगले सप्ताह आएंगे और आपसे मिलेंगे।)
Willingness -- We’ll see you tomorrow. (हम कल तुमसे मिलेंगे।)
Conditionals Sentences - हम conditionals में will का प्रयॊग 'if' और 'unless' के साथ करते हैं जब हमें बताना हो कि हम क्या सोचते है कि भविष्य या वर्तमान में क्या होगा।
I’ll give her a call if I can find her number. (मैं उसको कॉल करूंगा अगर मुझे उसका नंबर मिल सके तो।)
'will' as a Modal Auxiliary Verb:
Used to express desire (इच्छा), preference (वरीयता), choice (विकल्प), or consent (सहमति):
I will do this duty. (मैं यह कर्तव्य का करूंगा।)
Will you stop talking like that? (क्या आप उस तरह बात करना बंद करेंगे?)
भविष्य व्यक्त करने के लिए:
It will rain tomorrow. (कल बरसात होगी।)
The news will spread soon. (खबर जल्द ही फैल जायेगी।)
क्षमता (capacity or capability) व्यक्त करने के लिए:
This bucket will hold two gallons of water. (यह बाल्टी में दो गैलन पानी आएगा।)
This airplane will take 200 passengers. (इस हवाई जहाज 200 यात्रियों को ले जाएगा।)
Used to express determination (दृढ़ संकल्प), insistence (जिद), or persistence (दृढ़ता):
I will do it as you say. (आप जैसा कहते हैं मैं करूंगा।)
