The death of all the 39 Indians abducted by the ISIS terror outfit in Mosul in Iraq three years ago has been confirmed, external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj told in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. The mortal remains of the deceased, which were exhumed from a grave in Badosh, will be brought back to India on a special plane and handed over to their relatives, she said.  A group of 40 Indian workers were taken hostage by the ISIS in 2014.

विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज ने मंगलवार को राज्यसभा में बताया कि तीन साल पहले इराक के मोसुल में ISIS आतंकवादी संगठन द्वारा अगवा किए गए सभी 39 भारतीयों के मारे जाने की पुष्टि हो चुकी है । उन्होंने कहा कि मृतकों के नश्वर अवशेषों को, जिन्हें बदूश की एक कब्र से खोदकर निकला गया था, एक विशेष विमान में वापस  भारत वापस लाया जाएगा और उनके रिश्तेदारों को सौंप दिया जाएगा। 2014 में 40 भारतीय श्रमिकों के एक समूह को ISIS द्वारा बंधक बनाया गया था।
