The Central government on Thursday told the Supreme Court that the abrogation of Article 370 allowed the accession of Jammu and Kashmir to the Indian union and said that the move is "irreversible". A five-Judge Bench today continued hearing various pleas challenging the abrogation of Article 370. Attorney General KK Venugopal submitted how accession of the new Union Territory to Indian union took place and said that "it (abrogation of Article 370) is irreversible".

केंद्र सरकार ने गुरुवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट को बताया कि अनुच्छेद 370 के निरस्तीकरण ने जम्मू-कश्मीर को भारतीय संघ में प्रवेश की अनुमति दी और कहा कि यह कदम "अपरिवर्तनीय" है। पांच-न्यायाधीशों की खंडपीठ ने आज धारा 370 के हनन को चुनौती देने वाली विभिन्न याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई जारी रखी। अटॉर्नी जनरल केके वेणुगोपाल ने पेश किया कि भारतीय केंद्र में नए केंद्र शासित प्रदेश का प्रवेश कैसे हुआ और कहा कि "यह (अनुच्छेद 370 का निरस्तीकरण) अपरिवर्तनीय है"।
