Army chief General Bipin Rawat has issued directives on the Army Wide Area Network to curb ostentatious functions and sycophancy within the Indian Army Force. These directives include many issues like misuse of CSD alcohol, prevention of assigning menial tasks to the soldiers and giving strict punishment for corrupt practices. While addressing a press conference, General Rawat said that rising cases of moral turpitude are a matter of concern and strict punishments, including dismissal without pension, is being given to the offenders.
