Aimed at showcasing India's progress in aerospace and defense capabilities, Asia's biggest aero show, Aero India 2023, will begin in Bengaluru from Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the air show. This show will run till Friday. This is the biggest event of its kind so far, in which 98 countries are expected to participate. Defense ministers of 32 countries, air force chiefs of 29 countries and 73 CEOs of equipment manufacturers of global and Indian origin are expected to participate in the event. 809 defense companies including start-ups will showcase advancements in specific technologies and developments in the aerospace and defense sectors. As many as 251 agreements with an estimated investment of Rs 75,000 crore are likely to be signed between various Indian and foreign defense companies during the aero show.
