Assam government has taken a big decision for the students. She is going to distribute scooters to the meritorious students of the state. The Assam government will distribute scooters to around 36,000 meritorious students of the state, mostly girls. These are the girls who have passed this year's higher secondary examination. This decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu told the media after the meeting that the state cabinet on Wednesday passed a resolution to implement the program at a cost of Rs 258.9 crore. He said that this year girls have performed better in the 12th examination of Assam Board. Out of a total of 35,800 students, 29,748 girls secured first division and 6,052 boys secured 75 per cent marks in the Assam Board 12th examination. All these will be given scooters by the government.
असम सरकार ने छात्रों के लिए एक बड़ा फैसला लिया है. वह राज्य के मेधावी छात्रों को स्कूटर बांटने जा रही है. असम सरकार राज्य के लगभग 36,000 मेधावी छात्रों को स्कूटर बांटेगी, जिनमें ज्यादातर लड़कियां हैं. ये वे लड़कियां हैं जिन्होंने इस साल की उच्च माध्यमिक परीक्षा पास की है. मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा की अध्यक्षता में हुई बैठक में हुई कैबिनेट बैठक में यह फैसला लिया गया है. राज्य के शिक्षा मंत्री रनोज पेगू ने बैठक के बाद मीडिया को बताया कि राज्य मंत्रिमंडल ने बुधवार को 258.9 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से कार्यक्रम को लागू करने का प्रस्ताव पारित किया. उन्होंने कहा कि इस साल असम बोर्ड की 12वीं परीक्षा में लड़कियों का बेहतर प्रदर्शन रहा है. कुल 35,800 छात्रों में से असम बोर्ड की 12वीं परीक्षा में 29,748 लड़कियों ने प्रथम श्रेणी हासिल की और 6,052 लड़कों ने 75 प्रतिशत अंक हासिल किए. इन सभी को सरकार की तरफ से स्कूटर दिया जाएगा.
