fter being shut for over seven months in view of the coronavirus pandemic, schools in Assam reopened from today. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has directed the education department to take utmost care and strictly observe Covid-19 protocols. The SOP has asked the school authorities to follow social distancing and other precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the virus. The state government said that students of Class 6 and above can attend school, but only after consent from their parents. CM issued instructions for extensively using audiovisual tools and other attractive methods such as storytelling in the first month to get students back to the mould of formal education, according to an official release.

कोरोनावायरस महामारी को देखते हुए सात महीने से अधिक समय तक बंद रहने के बाद, असम के स्कूल आज से फिर से खुल गए। मुख्यमंत्री सर्बानंद सोनोवाल ने शिक्षा विभाग को बेहद सावधानी बरतने और कोविद -19 संलेख का सख्ती से पालन करने का निर्देश दिया है। एसओपी ने स्कूल अधिकारियों को वायरस के प्रसार को रोकने के लिए सामाजिक दूरी और अन्य एहतियाती उपायों का पालन करने के लिए कहा है। राज्य सरकार ने कहा कि कक्षा 6 और उससे ऊपर के छात्र स्कूल में पढ़ सकते हैं, लेकिन उनके माता-पिता से सहमति के बाद ही। आधिकारिक विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार छात्रों को औपचारिक शिक्षा के सांचे में वापस लाने के लिए सीएम ने ऑडियो-विजुअल टूल्स और पहले महीने में कहानी कहने जैसे अन्य आकर्षक तरीकों का बड़े पैमाने पर इस्तेमाल करने के निर्देश जारी किए।
