Tom Strecker's six wickets and Harry Dixon's half-century helped Australia register a thrilling one-wicket win over Pakistan in the semi-finals here on Thursday and enter the ICC Under-19 World Cup final in which it will face defending champions India. The final will be played in this stadium on Sunday. Pakistan players continued to struggle against fast bowler Strecker (six wickets for 24 runs) due to which the team managed to score only 179 runs after being invited to bat. Had it not been for the half-centuries of Arafat Minhas (52 runs) and Azaan Awes (52 runs), this score would have been even lower. In the second semi-final match of Under 19, Pakistan team could have won the match but Pakistan team bowled slowly due to which they had to bring in a fielder in the last over of the match as per the rules, the fielder who came inside the circle was Was standing at fine leg, after this, on the ball of Pakistani bowler Mohammad Zeeshan, the edge of Australian batsman McMillan's bat and the ball went backwards and Australia won the match and entered the final.
