Due to the negligence of the air traffic staff in Nepal, a major plane crash was averted. According to the information being received, due to the employees, the aircraft of Air India and Nepal Airlines had come very close to each other. If the pilots of both the planes had not taken precautions in time, then both the planes could have collided with each other. In view of this negligence of the air traffic employee, The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has suspended all the three employees. This information was given by the spokesperson of CAAN. He said that at present we are also investigating this whole matter. According to the information being received, the incident took place on Friday morning. Then Nepal Airlines aircraft Airbus A-320 was coming from Kuala Lumpur to Kathmandu and Air India aircraft was going from New Delhi to Kathmandu. Both the planes narrowly avoided colliding with each other in the sky. The Air India plane was descending from a height of 19,000 feet while the Nepal Airlines plane was flying at 15,000 feet at that time.

नेपाल में एयर ट्रैफिक कर्मचारियों की लापरवाही की वजह से एक बड़ा विमान हादसा टल गया. मिल रही जानकारी के अनुसार कर्मचारियों की वजह से एयर इंडिया और नेपाल एयरलाइंस के विमान एक-दूसरे के काफी करीब आ गए थे. अगर समय रहते दोनों विमानों के पायलटों ने सतर्कता नहीं बरती होती तो दोनों विमान आपस में टकरा सकते थे. एयर ट्रैफिक कर्मचारी की इस लापरवाही को देखते हुए द सिविल एविएशन अथॉरिटी ऑफ नेपाल (CAAN) ने तीनों कर्मचारियों को सस्पेंड कर दिया है. इसकी जानकारी CAAN के प्रवक्ता ने दी. उन्होंने कहा कि हम फिलहाल इस पूरे मामले की जांच भी कर रहे हैं. मिल रही जानकारी के अनुसार घटना शुक्रवार सुबह की है. तब नेपाल एयरलाइंस का विमान एयरबस ए-320 क्वालालंपुर से काठमांडू आ रहा था और एयर इंडिया का विमान नई दिल्ली से काठमांडू जा रहा था. दोनों विमान आसमान में एक-दूसरे से टकराने से बाल-बाल बचे. एयर इंडिया का विमान 19 हजार फीट  की ऊंचाई से नीचे उतर रहा था जबकि नेपाल एयरलाइंस का विमान उस समय 15 हजार फीट पर उड़ रहा था.
